The IMR 2-in-1 exterior wood stain and finish with wax finish leaves the wood thoroughly protected for long, coupled with a pleasant matt look and silky feel.

The wax micro-spheres contained in the product significantly enhance protection against water and moisture, offering extremely high resistance to weathering and UV rays.

Odorless and environmentally friendly. Easy to apply by brush or spray, directly onto untreated or stained wood. Developed by ICA laboratories to the specifications of the most demanding woodworking professionals.

Window frames, shutters, fences, balconies and other wood items located outdoors, beams and roofs.

USE ON RAW WOOD
- The wood must be clean and dry, free of dust, oily residues or products that can limit adhesion.
- Sand the surface using 150–180-grit sandpaper and remove the sawdust.
- Mix the product thoroughly and apply it with a brush (with synthetic bristles).
- Within 1-2 hours, the second coat of product can be applied without sanding. After 2 hours, it is necessary to sand with 280-320 grit sandpaper to improve adhesion between coats.

USE ON PREVIOUSLY FINISHED WOOD
- Sand with 100–120-grit sandpaper until the existing coating is completely removed.
- Proceed as stated above for use on raw wood.

ICA RECOMMENDS
- IMR00: For greater protection against UV rays, use the colored version of this product.

How to create a stained effect on your wooden fence

Step 1

Before painting, carefully prepare the surface by sanding it with 150-180 grit sandpaper. Be sure to remove any impurities with a dusting brush.

Step 2

Now that your surface is ready, open your can of IMR wax-like water-based impregnating agent/topcoat for wood (for this tutorial we used IMR083 - TEAK), stirring it very well before use. Apply the product on the surface with a synthetic bristle brush, working in long and linear movements.

Step 3

Wait 1 to 2 hours before applying the second coat of product.
